I am very sorry to have missed the actual presentation on PBS last night, but I am glad you posted it and sent it along.
I loved the presentation, it was done professionally and ran seamlessly! You were charming in your casual, yet professional demeanor (as always!) and both the conversation/narration and the playing were very engaging.
Congratulations once again, Eduardo. You have worked VERY HARD to get where you are today and your dedication and hard work are paying off! Of course, being one of the best --if not THE best-- and winning all those
competitions has helped a great deal!
You DESERVE the limelight! Good luck in all your future endeavors and continue to share your love of the guitar and excellence of interpretations with those of us lucky enough to be in the audience.
Hello Eduardo. Not many classical guitarists can play from the soul like you do! It is always an inspiration to hear you play. I especially like the "simpler" pieces that you perform. Oh Holy Night ...is exquisite! I continue to follow your performances and efforts with enthusiasm. I could only hope to play as well as you maybe in my next life! (Does one have to sell their soul to play like you?? LOL) John Atlanta, Georgia
Hello, everyone.
I'm studying classic guitar in the Conservatory, but I always felt the need to find some other suport on my studies.
I already have two years experience in online classes with two other guitarrists.
I also had some knowledge about Eduardo's work, mainly from youtube and from that point on I found out about his site, Guitarimpact, and realised he also teached online classes.
It has been three months since I started studying with him and I can't really put in words his fabulous capacity of leading you to reach your own purposes. Another thing that also amazed me was his capacity to see and listen everything that happens during the class, even in an online class.
I hope he continues to have the same patience to put up with me.
This christmas my request his that all students may have a teacher like Eduardo.
Hello Eduardo.. I have just listened and watched ur first lesson and find it to be so encouraging. You did not hear me thank goodness, however i like your concept of small blocks at a time... brain can handle this.. With no lessons and no encouragement and life struggle I became disheartened. but have decided to forge ahead and am so happy to find such an amazing teacher who will not make me feel small. I am recharged. Thank you. :)
Dear Eduardo,
What a great page I've just come across! Thanks a lot for it! Two strings trills: I've been using the tremolo fing. -a m i p for a few years. However after a few minutes of trying your version I'm not so sure, I'm even closer to your oppinion now. I need to decide it because of one of Scarlatti sonatas. I'll definitely keep in touch with your pages and keep practicing a i m p (besides a lot of other techniques, of course). Thanks! Roman, Czech Rep.

I want to congratulate Eduardo by this publication that has been of great use to me, every day I learn something new with PGE, and this has helped me on my way to play, no doubt a great investment, thanks. !
Eduardo's PGE program is a breathe of fresh air in the otherwise stuffy and congested realm of guitar methodology. What sets this program apart from others (and there aren't any others like it that I'm aware of) is the raw excitement it instills. Eduardo's enthusiasm is incredibly contagious. I could hardly make it through the first section without stopping to pick up my guitar.
Everything Eduardo has to say is very clear and concise. It all makes perfect sense. In other words - you won't feel like you need to consult with a teacher to understand what he is talking about. For just over a hundred dollars, this is surely the best money I've ever spent. I've been using it for about four months now and still get new information every time I open it. Even the sections I have been through countless times! I cannot stress enough how inspired and focused I am after completing a section in PGE. It finally feels as if I'll be able to play the way I always wished to someday...and soon!
At 68 yrs of age, I decided to seriously study classical guitar, and see how far, and what level I could attain, (at my age and some arthritis in my hands). I am now in my third year of faithfully practicing and continuing to make progress. I am studying from several well know method books, but my playing was still rough, with nails hitting strings and other nuisances, along with periods of being stuck. I was reluctant to purchase another guitar method, and just plod along in my old way. After hearing and watching Eduardo play,I decided to purchase the PGE course. This course teaches what the method books do not, and that is; The finer points of what separates a real good guitar player from a mediocre one. His Zen -like approach, in becoming one with the guitar, and other very helpful ideas, were exactly what I needed, and what was missing. PGE shows how to get the most out of my guitar practice, and making it more structured and productive. I am not even half way through this course but I am already experiencing a very significant changes in my playing (more cleanly and precise), and concentration of staying focused. I am looking forward to my continuing progress and enjoyment of playing the guitar. Thanks Eduardo,- G. of playing the guitar. Thanks Eduardo,- G. Yusko

I am a guitar student from Tucson who has had the privilege of being one of Eduardo's students at the University, and seeing his lessons here are almost exactly as if I were sitting in the same room with him. After admittedly feeling a little stuck in my guitar playing, I found his "What to do when we're stuck" video. It's really made me think about little things I can do to improve my playing ability, as well as what I'd like to accomplish with my guitar playing aside from playing just to improve my playing.
I hope to be able to continue my tutelage at the University soon; but in the time until then, this website I'm sure will prove more than beneficial.
I am a man who lives in a simple but colorful and meaningful life. I just love music, together with my guitars at home, I can expressed my emotions. Acoustic guitar if I'm sad and lonely, and electric guitar if I love to rock my life. That is my life, simple but hard to explain where only me can understand what really I am and who really I am. Anyway, your site has a great impact to me, I like it so much simple yet cool.

Thanks for answering my questions Eduardo. I have been asking myself why I want to get to the next level. My answer to myself is that I want to express my emotions and feelings through my playing. I don't want to just play the notes. I will start working on each piece in my repertoire one by one until I feel that I am playing from my heart rather than my brain. From listening to your video. I realise that I am maybe trying to learn pieces that at my level are a little bit technical for me. I have tended to learn quite hard pieces until I have memorised them and then move on to the next. I hope that makes sense!

Thanks so much for your videos, they have really helped me, i am still trying to get the complete idea of your twelve steps for a successing guitar study. The thrills one has been a huge help, i am playing some scarlatti´s sonatas, and these tips are so good for improving my performance.
Now i have a couple of questions, i hope you can answer some of them on a video:
How do you prepare yourself for a contest?, i mean, not just the study time but your mind preparation, and other one, do you have some technical warm up excersices that you always do?, could you share them with us?-
Thank you so much again Mr. Eduardo, your teaching is so fresh and productive keep doing it!
Great idea for a website - I'm looking forward to more videos. You clearly have great insight, and a willingness to share it. And your youtube channel is a must.

E os cd's? Love songs, Brazukas... Como adquirir?
Abraços,
Great Job

Fabián.
Site legal, cara!
